Welcome & General Information

The Business, Education and Transitional Studies Division provides effective and dynamic instructional, academic, and student support services through a variety of traditional and nontraditional resources.

The mission of the Transitional Math, Transitional English, and ESOL departments in collaboration with the library, tutoring program, and continuing and adult education is to provide students with the resources necessary to build a solid foundation as they make the transition from pre-college level classes to college level work.

 

The following is a summary of the various services offered in the division:

Continuing Education - allows individuals to engage in lifelong learning through participation in workforce and leisure education programs, seminars, workshops, forums and activities.

Transitional Studies - engages a connected learning experience through linked, clustered and coordinated Math, English, and English as a Second Language courses that include strategies for college success seminars.
